The AIB has many services available for promotional purposes to universities, publishers and other related organizations. AIB is incorporated in the United States as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions to AIB are tax deductible in the United States and certain other countries. AIB solicits funds from AIB members, corporations, and foundations and accepts bequests from the estates of members. Funds raised from these sources are used to further the Academy's charitable objective for fostering research and education in international business around the world.

AIB also actively seeks partnerships with organizations around the world with objectives and visions similar to AIB with an emphasis is placed upon partnerships which would enhance AIB's capability to advance research and education in international business around the world.
