AIB offers a limited number of travel stipends for doctoral students and area scholars to assist with expenses related to attending the AIB 2014 Vancouver Meeting. Please find the relevant information below, in the respective section for each award. If you're not eligible for one of these categories, we regret to inform you that no other financial support is available through AIB for this year's conference:
The Executive Board is pleased to announce the availability of a limited number of US$500-US$750 stipends to help doctoral students attend the AIB 2014 Vancouver Conference. These stipends are made possible through a Sheth Foundation grant, as well as through individual contributions to the AIB Foundation.
These stipends are available for full-time Ph.D. students who plan to attend the Doctoral Consortium and/or have a paper accepted for presentation at the meeting.
A single application process will be utilized for all doctoral stipends. Recipients of the stipends will be expected to assist the conference organizers for about ten hours during the conference with various logistical tasks.

The Executive Board is pleased to announce the availability of a limited number of Area Scholar Fellowships for faculty attending the AIB 2014 Vancouver meeting. These fellowships are made possible through generous individual contributions to the AIB Foundation.
For 2014, Area Scholar Fellowships will be available to faculty members from countries that are traditionally under-represented in our membership, with particular emphasis to applicants from Africa, Middle East, Central and South America, and Central Asia. The fellowship comprises of:

The Women in the Academy of International Business (WAIB) are pleased to announce the availability of a number of WAIB Helping Hands Awards to aid:
Current AIB members as well as those who are not current members of AIB are eligible to apply. To be eligible for this award, the paper must be submitted to and be accepted for presentation at the 2014 AIB Conference in Vancouver, Canada. The submission deadline for the 2014 AIB conference is January 15, 2014.
