AIB Fellow - A. Rebecca (Becky) Reuber
Becky Reuber is Professor of Strategic Management at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, Canada. She received her PhD from Queen’s University (Canada) and has held visiting positions at University of Glasgow (Scotland), Dartmouth College (U.S.), University of Adelaide (Australia), Australian National University, and University of Victoria (Canada).
Becky’s research examines firm-level internationalization with an entrepreneurship lens, and pays attention to the entrepreneurial behaviors underlying internationalization. Her work has been published in the form of book chapters, policy reports and papers in journals including Journal of International Business Studies, Academy of Management Review, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, and Journal of Small Business Economics. In 2018, she edited a collection of international entrepreneurship research papers, published by Palgrave Macmillan.
Becky is currently Area Editor for international entrepreneurship at the Journal of International Business Studies. She also serves on the editorial boards of Academy of Management Perspectives, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, and Family Business Review. She has organized Paper Development Workshops for EIBA and the AIB-UKI and AIB-MENA chapters. She co-founded ie-scholars, a community of international entrepreneurship researchers, and led the development of its international entrepreneurship teaching material. She is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Chartered Association of Business Schools (UK), and has been a member of the CGA-Canada’s SME Trade Advisory Panel, The Toronto Board of Trade’s Access to Capital Task Force, The Institute of Internal Auditor’s Board of Regents, as well as VP (Programs) of the Canadian Council for Small Business & Entrepreneurship
