The Research section is one of four subsections of Resources on the AIB website. Collectively, these sections provide international business-focused resources that cater to the needs of teachers, researchers, students, and professionals interested in academic research. The Research section is specifically focused on the five topics of Academic Publishers, Paper Depositories, Journals, Professional Organizations, and Mailing Lists. The Research section is Powered by globalEDGE.

The Research section features five subcategories:

Academic Publishers
This section provides information about publishers that feature books focusing on presenting the state-of-the-art knowledge in academic and scientific research. Only publishers that feature books with significant emphasis in international or cross-cultural topics are eligible for inclusion.

Paper Depositories
This section provides information about sites that feature a collection of research manuscripts or working papers. Some of these are limited to a specific topic or region (the Asian Economic Crisis); others provide only papers published by an organization (IMF) or a single individual, while yet others may be much wider in scope (EconWPA). The paper depository needs to feature a significant number of researches with distinct international or cross-cultural focus to qualify for inclusion.

Journals
This section provides information about top journals in a variety of fields of interest. For each academic function, we provide a selection of top general journals as well as a selection of journals that focus on international topics within that field. Each listing includes a description of the journal's primary focus, a link to the journal's home page, and a separate link to the style guide of the journal, if available.

Professional Organizations
This section provides information about leading academic or research oriented professional organizations around the world. Examples include the Decision Sciences Institute and the Academy of International Business.

Mailing Lists
This section provides information about a variety of electronic mailing lists of interest to the academic community. Some of these lists bring together academics in a specific field, while others aim to bring together professionals and academics to discuss issues of interest. Yet others act as announcement lists for business news or academic announcements.
