AIB Fellow - Peter J. Buckley
Peter J Buckley (BA, MA, Ph.D) is Professor of International Business and Director of the Centre for International Business, University of Leeds, (CIBUL), UK. He is visiting Professor at the Universities of Groningen (The Netherlands) and Reading. He has published 21 books in English and one in German, and many of these have been translated into other languages. He has published over 120 refereed articles in European, American and Japanese journals including twelve contributions to the Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS). His work is very heavily cited - the Social Science Citation Index lists over eleven hundred citations. He was Vice-President of the Academy of International Business (AIB) 1991-92 and was elected a Fellow of AIB in 1985 for "outstanding achievements in international business". He is also a Fellow of the British Academy of Management and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA). In December 1998 he was made an Honorary Professor at the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing, China. He is President of the Academy of International Business 2002-2004.
