AIB Fellow - John D. Daniels
John D. Daniels holds the Samuel N. Friedland Chair at the University of Miami. Previously he held the E. Claiborne Robins Chair at the University of Richmond and was Director of the CIBER at Indiana University. He won the AIB’s annual dissertation competition and has since served as AIB President and Dean of its Fellows. He is the former Chair of the International Division of the Academy of Management. He has served on the editorial board of over a dozen journals and wrote the first editorial guidelines for JIBS. He has published thirteen books, of which his co-authored textbook, International Business: Environments and Operations, will soon be published in its 12th edition. His articles have appeared in leading journals. He has worked and lived a year or longer in seven different countries, worked shorter stints in more than thirty other countries on six continents, and has traveled in many more. His foreign work experience has been a combination of private sector, governmental, teaching, and research assignments.
