Doctoral Travel Stipends
The Executive Board is pleased to announce the availability of a limited number of stipends ranging from US$500-US$750 each to help doctoral students attend the Beijing Conference. These stipends are made possible through a Sheth Foundation grant, as well as through individual contributions to the AIB Foundation.
These stipends are available for full-time Ph.D. students who plan to attend the Doctoral Consortium and/or have a paper accepted for presentation at the meeting.
Additional stipends are also available to Doctoral Consortium participants through the generous contributions of the Society for the Advancement of Management Studies (SAMS) who is sponsoring the consortium.
A single application process will be utilized for both the Sheth and the SAMS stipends. Recipients of the stipends will be expected to assist the conference organizers for about ten hours during the conference.
Applications for travel stipends will be accepted through a two-step process:
1) fill out the online application form in its entirety
2) Mail, fax, or email the following items to the AIB Secretariat:
- a signed letter of recommendation from your advisor
- a one-page bio or resume
The deadline for applications is April 21, 2006.
