Although it is best to fly into Monterey airport, conference attendees may also fly into the San Francisco International (125 miles or 201 km) or San Jose Airports (75 miles or 121 km). The coast is consistently mild, with an average temperature, in July, of 68 degrees (20 degrees C) during the day. Dressing in layers is advised, generally, light- to medium-weight clothing is appropriate.
