The Graduate School of Business Administration and Leadership (EGADE) of the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey, will organize in October 1997 the XXXII Assembly of the Latin American Council of Business Schools (CLADEA). This Assembly will be held concurrently with the 38th AIB 1997 conference. For this purpose, the EGADE has formed an enthusiastic and committed team to lead the management of this important meeting, and its members are directing their energy to make this event a total success.
The setting of this event will be held in the city of Monterrey, the capital of Nuevo Leon State, characterized by its entrepreneurial industrial spirit. It is considered one of the most important and successful cities in the Americas. This city has nurtured leading Mexican multinational companies and is the site for outstanding technological developments. Monterrey offers its visitors great hospitality and the opportunity to visit important museums, as well as numerous entertainment and tourist attractions.

We cordially invite academics, administrators, and practitioners to participate in the XXXII Assembly of CLADEA. This event is designed for all people whose research is related to the study of Latin America emerging into a global context. With this theme we are seeking to contribute to the development of the Latin-American business world, as well as to discover the elements of a management style which, although unique and integrative, is also influenced by the globalization of political, economic, technological and social systems.
We hope that papers related to this meeting's central theme will be the result of a profound examination of a particular industry or sector; or of an organization, through a case study or series of case studies; or at the level of individual behavior in relation to certain variables.

We request two copies of completed papers mailed for selection at the latest by April 30, 1997. The length of the paper should not exceed 20 double spaced pages.
