Established in 1959, today, AIB has 2978 members in 81 different countries around the world. Members include scholars from the leading global academic institutions as well consultants, researchers, government and NGO representatives. We welcome individuals and institutions from developing countries, newly industrialized countries, as well as industrialized countries to
join AIB.
AIB-L, our electronic discussion list, offers opportunities for discussion and intellectual networking creating a virtual venue for sharing professional accomplishments, facilitating learning, and open exchanges.
AIB also houses
sixteen chapters around the world as well as some special interest groups such as the
Women in AIB (WAIB).
