The School seeks an individual who will have primary responsibility for developing and implementing innovative capstone courses that will be recognized as models at the undergraduate, graduate, and Executive MBA levels. The goals of the School focus on preparing graduates for successful careers in a variety of fields. Bloch students’ experiential learning will include exposure to current technological applications and actual experience in the workplace. The culmination in the capstone course as designed for the specific program must focus on integrating knowledge learned throughout the program as well as learning the leading concepts in the strategic management domain. It is critical that our students understand innovation, entrepreneurial behavior, and risk-taking in the global marketplace of changing demographics, technology, and markets while also fulfilling legal and ethical responsibilities.
We seek an innovative and energetic individual with a demonstrated record of or potential for a sustained successful research program as evidenced by publications in well-respected academic journals. The candidate should also demonstrate capability for outstanding classroom performance at the undergraduate, graduate and Executive MBA levels. Applicants with expertise in entrepreneurship and/or international business are especially encouraged to apply. It is preferred that individuals have an earned doctorate prior to commencing the position; however, ABD applicants will be considered. Applicants should present evidence of the ability to operate effectively in a participative, collegial environment, and demonstrate a passion to interact successfully with the business community.
